1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the prohibited behaviours when using the Magic Reports Service. The AUP forms an integral part of the B2C and B2B Terms of Service and is deemed accepted simultaneously with acceptance of those Terms. The goal is to ensure fair, lawful, and respectful use of the Service for all users and for the owners of the connected data sources.

2. Prohibited Uses

2.1 Unauthorised access to data sources. It is prohibited to use the Service to access GA4 properties, Google Search Console, YouTube, AdSense, Google Ads, or any other data source for which you do not hold legitimate authorisation from the owner. By connecting a data source, you declare that you have full authority to do so.

2.2 Resale and sublicensing. It is prohibited to resell, sublicense, assign, or transfer access to the Service or its features, in whole or in part, without MagicMetrics's prior written consent. The Service is licensed on a personal, non-transferable basis, except under specific agreements for Agency or Custom plans.

2.3 Credential sharing. It is prohibited to share account login credentials with unauthorised parties. Each account is intended for use by a single user or, where plans provide for it, a defined number of authorised users. Use of a single account by multiple distinct organisations is prohibited.

2.4 Circumventing plan limits. It is prohibited to attempt to bypass the technical limits of the subscribed plan by any means, including creating multiple accounts for the same organisation, using external scripts or automations, or any other technique aimed at obtaining usage beyond that provided by the plan.

2.5 Violation of Google API Terms of Service. It is prohibited to use the Service in a manner that violates the Terms of Service of Google APIs or other connected data sources, including usage limits, quotas, and access restrictions set by the respective providers.

2.6 Abusive automations. It is prohibited to configure triggers, scripts, or automations that generate a disproportionate volume of API calls relative to normal use of the Service, in a way that impairs the Service's performance for other users or violates the API quotas of connected data sources.

2.7 Reverse engineering and manipulation. It is prohibited to attempt to decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or extract the source code of the Service. It is prohibited to modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Service.

2.8 Unlawful activities. It is prohibited to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including fraudulent activities, violation of third-party intellectual property rights, unauthorised collection of personal data, or any other activity in breach of applicable law.

2.9 Interference with the Service. It is prohibited to take actions that interfere with the correct functioning of the Service or MagicMetrics's infrastructure, including DoS attacks, unauthorised access attempts, or introduction of malicious code.

3. Consequences of Violation

MagicMetrics reserves the right to immediately suspend access to the Service in the event of a serious or proven violation of this AUP, terminate the contract for non-performance without any obligation to refund the remaining period, and take legal action to recover any damages suffered.

In the event of non-serious violations, MagicMetrics notifies the user by email, specifying the violation and allowing 15 days to remedy the issue before proceeding with suspension.

5. Changes to the AUP

MagicMetrics reserves the right to update this AUP with 30 days' notice by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the changes constitutes acceptance.
